NuGenesis Empower data adapter performs poorly - WKB23985

SYMPTOMS

• Archiving Empower projects is unacceptably slow using the NuGenesis 8 SR2 Data Adapter DAR3 

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 8 SR2 SDMS application and database installed on a physical server using Windows Server 2012 R2
• Empower 3 FR4 application and database installed in off-site cloud vendor environment on a virtual server using Windows Server 2012 R2

CAUSE

Communications and data transfer between the site and cloud environment is unsuitable for the project archive actions being performed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Relocate either the Empower components or the NuGenesis components so they are in close proximity to one another.
