Error: "[NG14649] The given version is not supported" is returned by the NuGenesis SDMS SDK - WKB208469

SYMPTOMS

• The NuGenesis SDMS SDK application receives the following error message from the server:
  • [NG14649] The given version is not supported.
• This message may be silently logged by the application or displayed to a user

ENVIRONMENT

• NuGenesis 9 SDMS
• NuGenesis 8 SDMS

CAUSE

The wrong version of the SDMS SDK is installed on the machine. This message appears if the SDMS 9.0 SDK tries to connect to an SDMS 9.1 server, or vice versa.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Determine the installed version of the SDMS SDK on the machine that runs the SDK app. The installed SDK version must match the version of the NuGenesis SDMS server.
