ZZZ_change to How To template_How to manually review calibration data from MassLynx or Instellistart - WKB89969

Article number: 89969

SYMPTOMS

  • How to manually review each calibration after running a calibration through MassLynx or intellistart.

ENVIRONMENT

  • MassLynx 4.1

CAUSE

PC issue preventing the PDF/XPS file from being generated.

FIX or WORKAROUND

A successful calibration generated by calibration through intellistart (Green Tick in intellistart) or MassLynx calibration from tune page.

  1. Navigate to the tune page of the MS.
  2. Select 'Calibration' from the upper bar to open the Calibration dialog box (Fig. 1).
  3. Load calibration file in question, for example, a recent intellistart load the calibration file (Date.cal) from the intellistart results folder found within MassLynx folder normally in C: Drive.
  4. Select 'Process' from the upper menu (Fig.1), then 'Calibrate From File'.
  5. The 'Scanning Calibration' dialogue box will open (Fig. 2).
  6. Using the tick box select which calibration that is required e.g. MS1 and Static Calibration, but one only one combination of MS1 or MS2 with a calibration type (Fig 3.). Scan times should update themselves. Click 'OK'.
  7. The Calibration Report will be generated for inspection, repeat step 6 again for all 6 calibration combinations.
