How to manually review calibration data from MassLynx - WKB89969

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Manually review each calibration after running calibration through MassLynx or IntelliStart.

PROCEDURE

A successful calibration generated through IntelliStart (green check mark in IntelliStart) or MassLynx tune page.

  1. Navigate to the tune page of the MS.
  2. Select "Calibration" from the upper bar to open the Calibration dialog box (Fig. 1).
  3. Load the calibration file in question (for example, a recent IntelliStart calibration file (Date.cal) from the IntelliStart results folder found within the MassLynx folder, normally on C: drive.
  4. From the upper menu (Fig.1), select "Process" > "Calibrate From File".

  5. The "Scanning Calibration" dialog box opens (Fig. 2).
  6. Select the calibration type that is required (for example, MS1 and Static Calibration), but only one combination of MS1 or MS2 with a calibration type (Fig 3.). Scan times should update themselves. Click OK.
  7. The Calibration Report is generated for inspection. Repeat step 6 for all six calibration combinations.
