M-Class UPLC stops after first injection, does not move to next one, shows "System not ready to perform operation" error - WKB88854

SYMPTOMS

• Queue stalls after first injection is complete
• µSM-FL produces "Sample Manager: System not ready to perform operation" error
• TVM produces "Running: No function or text"
• System switches to Standby mode if a shutdown method is specified

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.2
• DP2019R2 for ACQUITY UPLC M-Class

CAUSE

Triggering is not set correctly in the Inlet Editor.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Ensure that Event 1 IN is selected and triggering for both Pump and Detector and is set to "Trigger by Contact Closure", even though no contact closure cables are needed or present.
2. Verify that upon submission of more than one sample, the queue progresses as expected.
