How to confirm the matrix effect of a mass spectrometer with Fluidics (MassLynx) - WKB88063

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Use a Fluidics pump to confirm matrix effect of the sample.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ-S cronos
• Xevo TQ-S micro
• Xevo TQ-XS

PROCEDURE

1. Set the standard of the target compound for Fluidics A or B.
2. While the mobile phase flow, set Valve Position to Combined and confirm the intensity of the relevant MRM conditions on the Tune page.
3. Set Flow State to Combined from Options (Method events) in MS Method.
4. Run a blank sample using the MS Method with the Flow State changed, and confirm the ion intensity near the retention time.
