No results shown in the TargetLynx browser when data are processed - WKB8794

SYMPTOMS

• Only the information about sample appears in the TargetLynx Summary Bar (file name, File Text, Sample ID, Vial location, and so on).
• No data or results show in the TargetLynx Summary bar (no integration, retention times, concentrations, and so on).
• Found: Correct method is being used.
• Found: Cannot open raw data directly from Sample list > Chromatogram option.
• Found: There are no spaces preceding the file name in the File Name column.
• Found: Project open in MassLynx is not the project to which the data were acquired.

CAUSE

A mismatch exists between the project that is open in MassLynx and the sample list being processed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Go to File > Open Project and select the project to which the data was acquired.
2. Go to File > Open and select the sample list to be processed with TargetLynx. Ensure that the sample list file is in the SampleDB folder of the project opened in Step #1.
3. Under TargetLynx Shortcut, select Process Samples, select appropriate method, and click OK.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This problem may also occur when MassLynx project folders or data file folders are moved to a different PC or a virtual PC where the file structure is different.
