ProteinLynx Global Server (PLGS) expression analysis does not work - WKB84394

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot create an expression analysis
• The Expression Analysis Manager wizard becomes stuck on the second screen, "Select Grouping Method"
• Cannot clear the “use isotope labeled sample” check box on the "Select Grouping Method" screen

ENVIRONMENT

• PLGS 3.0.3

CAUSE

An Expression^E license is not installed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Install the Expression^E license from disk 2 of the PLGS 3.0.3 installation kit.
2. Restart PLGS.
3. Open an Expression analysis.
4. Clear the “use isotope labeled sample” box on the "Select Grouping Method" screen.
5. On screen 3, use the "Assign Sample Groups Manually" option.
