ANSWER
No. Only Internet Explorer is supported, but there are workarounds for other Browsers.
Microsoft Edge:
In Settings > Default Browser > Internet Explorer compatibility > Internet Explorer mode pages
Press Add then enter the location of the status monitor file
e.g. C:/OAToolkit/RemoteStatusMonitor/WebService/default.htm
Open the above page in Internet Explorer 11 compatibility mode and accept the warning to "Allow blocked content "on the warning message.
Chrome:
If ActiveX is added to Chrome via the Google webstore, the Remote Status Monitor displays in Chrome.
Note: these workarounds are subject to your company IT department allowing use of ActiveX
