How to include a dilution factor for unknown samples in MassLynx - WKB71838

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Correct the analyte concentration in MassLynx for the dilution factor that was applied during sample preparation.

A correction for the analyzed concentration can be made by using the column "User Factor 1, 2 or 3" or "User Divisor 1".
Add these columns to the sample list by right-clicking in the sample list and selecting "customize display".
Select either "User Factor 1" or "User Divisor 1".
The selected column is now visible in the sample list and can be filled in accordingly.
Process the samples. The concentrations will be corrected for the entered dilution factor.
