MassLynx injects only the first injection and does not move to the second sample - WKB265392

SYMPTOMS

• MassLynx starts the first sample and acquires to the end of acquisition time
• Next acquisition does not start
• MassLynx indicates ready but, in the console, LC controls remain in magenta as during acquisition, yet the MS becomes ready for next acquisition
• In the inlet file, Stop Method is not dimmed, indicating that the method is still running
• Almost every analog data channel is selected for acquisition in the inlet file 

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.2 SCN1028
• Driver Pack 2022 R1 Analytical

CAUSE

The inlet file is corrupted.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Create a new inlet file using the default inlet file from the default project as a template.
