QuanOptimize does not work; error "Failed to initiate acqusition method creation software" - WKB257874

SYMPTOMS

• Start QuanOptimize after configuring the options in "Run QuanOptimize" and pressing Finish
• The system appears to start but then stops with no error messages
• Open Notepad file in View Results and see the following: 

  Progress:    Error
  Compound                      Ion    Transition    Mode    CV    CE
  <compound name>         1st    In Progress: Optimising CV ESP+

  Notes:

  1. Error occurred creating parent stage method for <compound name>
  2. Failed to initiate acquisition method creation software
   
• Seen with SCN 1040, SCN 1042, and SCN 1043

CAUSE

Bug in QuanOptimize software - reported in CRI-5754

FIX or WORKAROUND

Fixed in SCN 1045 and subsequent releases
