OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Recover from an error in a UPLC inlet file in MassLynx Control.

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

PROCEDURE

1. From System on the left-hand side of the Console screen, select the error in the module where the error message was detected.
2. Press Reset from the Control menu in the upper-left to initialize the module and clear the error.
3. Open the Inlet method and select Reset Communications from the LC above.

This will change the Status Indicator OK from red to green and restore the Inlet method.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Pressing Reset from Control to initialize the module does not clear the error. The Status Indicator OK remains red.
