In MassLynx, the mass spectrometer does not wait for injection before acquiring - WKB235203

SYMPTOMS

• Can control the LC via the MS console
• When submitting a sample from the sample list, MassLynx immediately says "Acquiring" and there is no injection or LC status change
• No data is seen acquiring in real-time updates
• Recently switched inlets from GC to LC system
• Event in 1 is configured for trigger by software for pump and detector
• Rebooting system does not change the status

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class
• Agilent 7890 GC
• Xevo TQ-S micro

CAUSE

GC is on and connected.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Turn off the GC.
