ANSWER
Yes for Quadrupole instruments only - acquiring data to a network location /server is supported.
No for Time of Flight instruments as the data acquisition rate is too high.

Note: Take care that antivirus software does not interfere with the data acquisition.
MassLynx 4.2 SCN 997 included improvements in data acquisition over networks and for TargetLynx processing. These fixes will be in subsequent MassLynx releases.
Note: Multiple people cannot work with the same TargetLynx file (*.QLD) as TargetLynx locks the file while it is in use.
