For quadrupole instruments only - Yes, acquiring data to a network location/server is supported.
For time-of-flight instruments - No, the data acquisition rate is too high.

Note: Ensure that antivirus software does not interfere with data acquisition.
MassLynx 4.2 SCN 997 included improvements in data acquisition over networks and in TargetLynx processing. These improvements will be in subsequent MassLynx releases.
Note: Multiple people cannot work with the same TargetLynx file (*.QLD) because TargetLynx locks the file while it is in use.
