In MassLynx, unable to see deconvolution history of a processed data file - WKB222433

SYMPTOMS

• Can no longer see deconvolution history in a particular *.raw data file
• Renaming the data file with a shorter name and supported characters has no effect
• *.raw data files are saved locally
• no *proc files are found in the *.raw data folders

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• MaxEnt
• SYNAPT G2

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Exit MassLynx.
2. Browse to the computer and locate the *.raw data folder of the problem file.
3. Make a copy of the *.raw data file for backup.
4. Open the *.raw data folder and delete the _history.inf file.
5. Reopen MassLynx and test.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If there are any *proc files in the *.raw data folder, you can delete those as well.
