SYMPTOMS
- Importing HDMSE raw noise-reduced data to Progenesis QI using Waters Compression Tool fails with a generic error code (109, 0x6d).
- The original raw data (none noise reduced) imports correctly

CAUSE
This occurs when flow is diverted to waste at the start of the analysis.
FIX or WORKAROUND
SOLUTION 1
- Remove the flow diversion to waste.
SOLUTION 2
- Keep flow to waste for the desired time. Start the MS acquisition after the diverter valve switches to MS.
