SYMPTOMS

• Sample manager does not make injection
• MS shows "Waiting for Inlet"
• MassLynx queue shows "Acquiring"

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY H-Class FTN
• ACQUITY I-Class FL

CAUSE

Error condition on the sample manager, even after reset

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Cycle power to the sample manager.
2. Recover any components that lose communication.
3. Establish initial conditions/equilibration.
4. Start run.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Typically occurs after an SM error such as "Missing Plate or Vial". Reset does not resolve.
