"Tamper Warning" Error Message in MassLynx Security - WKB206879

SYMPTOMS

• "Tamper Warning" error message in MassLynx Security
• Message: "Cannot open checksum file (The system cannot find the file specified)"

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

CAUSE

Customer used a third-party file management program that archived MassLynx files to OpenLab.

No exceptions were included for the .csm file extension (checksum file) because these are normally hidden in File Explorer and not visible to the user. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Add exceptions for the checksum file if using a third-party file management program.
