"Inlet not Ready" messages in MassLynx - WKB205297

SYMPTOMS

• MassLynx shows that the inlet is not ready
• MS console shows system status as green with no errors
• Inlet method Editor's Status page shows green Ready indicator but red OK indicator

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• SYNAPT G2-Si
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class
• Acquity UPC2

CAUSE

Communication issue

FIX or WORKAROUND

In the inlet method editor, select Reset Instruments from the LC drop-down menu.

Cycle the power on all the modules and the host PC.

If the above does not resolve the issue then uninstall the acquity modules from the pc and then re-install them.
