SYMPTOMS

• "Unhandled exception has occurred" in ACQUITY console in MassLynx
• Unable to scan instruments within MassLynx inlet method editor
• Unable to open Waters DHCP server configuration; error message "Could not connect to the Waters DHCP Server" appears

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx

CAUSE

In "Services", the Waters DHCP Server is missing.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Run Waters DHCP_Restart.bat from the MassLynx DVD.
