MassLynx "server busy" errors - comm timeout issue - WKB119617

SYMPTOMS

• Server busy errors randomly appear and may stop a run

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• MassLynx 4.2
• Prep System with 2998/QDa

CAUSE

Comm timeout issue

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Change the default setting at:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Micromass\Inlets\InletKernel\Settings
   
   Increase Comm Timeout default (20000) to 60000.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Reboot the PC for the new setting to take affect.
