How to use a PDF printer other than Adobe Acrobat in OALogin/OpenLynx - WKB11912

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

To use an alternate PDF printer in OpenLynx Browser (i.e. not Adobe Acrobat).

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• OpenLynx
• OALogin
• OpenLynx Diversity Browser
• PDF Printer

PROCEDURE

1. Change the name of the PDF printer to "Adobe PDF":
   Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers.
   Right-click your PDF printer and go to Printer Properties.
   Change the name to "Adobe PDF".
    
2. Set the printer output location:
   Right-click the printer again and select Printing Preferences.
   Set the Printer Output Folder to save to c:\masslynx\oalogin\reportdb.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Note: Microsoft Windows PDF printer does not work with OALogin and the new printer must be able to print without intervention
