ANSWER

Waters will provide best efforts to sustainably support Microsoft OS and Oracle (CPU and DST) updates for the Embedded Oracle Licensed products. This strategy will leverage automated test suites and will perform testing of Windows patch and KB updates when a new version of Embedded Oracle product is release tested. Waters will test and release Oracle patch installers with each update to the Oracle version.

This level of support will be provided for the latest releases on a rolling basis, starting at June 2019.

• Waters release a new Embedded Oracle product every year, the Windows update testing for the oldest release will be dropped, but a similar process for the new release will start
• At the release testing of the new Embedded Oracle product versions the previous version will also be tested.
• The release tests will be performed after applying the latest MS and Oracle patches available.
• The release notes will detail the MS and Oracle patches tested with that release.
