Empower 3 GC2014 (Shimadzu) "Waiting for end of run, response from GC timed out" - WKB91294

SYMPTOMS

• After completing the measurement of the first row of the sample set, it does not proceed to the second row
• The message "Waiting for end of run, response from GC timed out" appears in the message center

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• GC2014
• Sample set run time is 30 minutes
• There is no row to return to the initial temperature in the Temperature ramp program table; the last row takes 30 minutes

CAUSE

There is not enough time for the oven to return to the initial temperature.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. For the run time of the sample set, specify the summed time of the last row of the Temperature ramp program table + the equilibration time.

2. Specify the time for returning to the initial temperature in the Next Inj. Delay of the sample set.
