Unable to copy/paste from Empower 3 - WKB90185

SYMPTOMS

• Unable to copy/paste from Empower applications to the local user desktop or other apps (for example, Word, Excel, Notepad)

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR5 and above
• Microsoft Remote Desktop Services

CAUSE

Root cause is unknown. Use of Empower with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services has not been tested by Waters.

FIX or WORKAROUND

If possible, perform copy/paste to an appropriate application hosted on the remote server. It should then be possible to perform copy/paste functions from the non-Empower application window.

Support for Empower using Microsoft Remote Desktop Services was documented as enhancement request CRI-1826.
