Does the eLAC/E 16 processor meet the Empower minimum requirements? - WKB87956

Article number: 87956

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower
  • eLAC/E 16
  • Intel CPU Atom E3845 1.91 GHz, 2 M cache

ANSWER

Yes.

The eLAC/E 16 was specifically tested with Empower.

It has four cores and four threads, which exceeds the minimum specification of two cores and two threads.

The number of cores and threads affects system performance more than clock speed.

It also exceeds the minimum processor specification to run Windows 10.

The Intel Atom outperforms the Intel Core 2 Duo in benchmark tests.

The Intel Atom is required for the small form, fanless eLAC/E 16 case.
