- When data buffering occurs in LAC/Es located in Brazil, the acquisition timestamp is off by an hour compared with the US server time
- Issue arose after Brazil stopped participating in daylight savings time
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3 Feature Release 4 (FR4)
- Empower 3 Feature Release 5 (FR5)
- Enterprise / Client server
CAUSE
Empower is using an Oracle time zone file that is not at version 34. (Oracle fixed the issue in version 34.)
FIX or WORKAROUND
- If you have your own Oracle license, download and install the correction from article on the Web: Updated DST Transitions and New Time Zones in Oracle RDBMS and OJVM Time Zone File Patches (Doc ID 412160.1, last updated on November 05, 2019).

If you do not have your own Oracle license, change the Node properties of the Brazil computer.
