SYMPTOMS
- In the Empower message center error, 7697A 222: external not ready when run is started
ENVIRONMENT
- Agilent GC 7890B
- Agilent Headspace 7697A
- Empower 3 Service Release 2 Hotfix1
CAUSE
APGC setting in method set to active low
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Open the Empower Instrument Method
- Click on 7697A > General tab
- Under hand shake mode, look for polarity > Set it to active high
