The application Instrumentserver.exe is faulting (specifically module OraClientxx.dll) causing sample sets to crash in Empower - WKB8068

SYMPTOMS

• The application Instrumentserver.exe is faulting with oraclientxx.dll file.
• In-progress sample sets fail.
• Connection to chromatography system lost observed in run sample window and message center.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 

CAUSE

Defect PCS# 55040 (CRI-432)

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reboot lace for temporary solution

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This issue is fixed on code in Empower 3 FR5 SR4. If customer is using Feature Release 5 a work around can be implemented with a setting on Node properties called After Sample Set Recovery.

Note: In Node properties if After Sample Set Recovery is set then user need to wait until complete sample set is completed if system goes to buffering mode.
