ACQUITY PDA "Communication Failure" cannot be cleared with the reset PDA function - WKB73031

SYMPTOMS
- "Communication Failure" in the ACQUITY console of the PDA

CAUSE
Unknown
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Open WatersDHCPserver and delete the ACQ-PDA row.
- Switch off the ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector.
- Switch on the ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector and confirm that ACQ-PDA is back in the WatersDHCPServer (perhaps with another IP address; it doesn't matter).
- Open the run sample and confirm that the control panel is ok for ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector.
- If the control panel is not ok, run Drive:\Empower\InstrumentServer\Bin\Stopacquityprocess.cmd from the LAC/E32 (after closing the run sample and verifying that there's no acquisition on the LAC/E32).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Rebooting the LAC/E32 did not resolve this issue.
