GPC processing method cannot be created in Empower 3 - WKB7072

SYMPTOMS

• When creating a processing method, there is no option for GPC when you are prompted to select the Processing Type

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

In project properties, under enabled options, GPC is not selected.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Go to Configure the System.
2. Highlight the project, right-click, and go to Properties.
3. Under Enabled Options, select GPC.
4. Go back into the project.
5. Click File > New Method > Processing Method, and choose GPC for the Processing Type.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You must have GPC listed under installed options in order to create GPC methods. To determine this, click on the "i" in the upper left-hand corner of the window that opens when you first log in to Empower.
