What does the Empower project integrity test check? - WKB69209

Article number: 69209

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower

ANSWER

The project integrity test may flag a problem for a number of reasons.

  1. The checksum does not match.
  2. The header is missing or incomplete.
  3. The data is incomplete.
  4. Any combination or all of these.
  5. A fewer or greater number of data files is present than expected based on the number of channels in the project.
Most integrity flags cannot be rectified in any way.

In cases where only the acquired data needs to be verified, when it is verified, the integrity flag is not expected to appear.

If the DAT file is still flagged after verifying the incomplete data, there is another reason as detailed above.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Previous to Empower 3 FR2, channel names longer than 30 characters were also flagged.

IMPORTANT - Data flagged in the integrity check or data that required verification of incomplete data must be duly assessed for suitability and subsequent use.
