SYMPTOMS

• Calibration curve not calculated correctly in Empower
• Bracketing standards did not perform as designed, and there were more calibration points than expected
• Before processing, the instrument method was changed in the acquisition method set
• The data was processed using the acquisition method set

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

Standards were run using an instrument method different than the one used in the acquisition method set.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Change the instrument method (or method set) back to the original and reprocess.
