- Error message "The local area connection conflicts with the Instrument LAN assigned to 192.168.0.1" appears when connecting instruments with ACQUITY console.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Confirm that the analysis is complete.

Type “regedit” in Search Programs and Files at the bottom of the Windows Start menu.

Click the magnifying glass icon or press Enter.

When Registry Editor appears, expand the folder to display the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Waters > Instruments > Scanned Instruments

Double-click the "CheckServerAddress" file on the right and specify 0 (zero) on the page where the date is entered.

Reboot and confirm that the error has cleared.

In some cases, this issue can also be resolved by resetting the module.
