SYMPTOMS

• In the Empower 3 message center is an Oracle SQL message: Select sum (BYTES) from SYS.DBA_FREE_SPACE WHERE TABLESPACE_NAME=
  name

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

Memory has fragmented and the application cannot get enough contiguous memory.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Restart the Oracle Service or reboot the computer where the Oracle database is running. (For Enterprise, it is the database server; for Personal, it is the user's workstation.)
