OBJECTIVE or GOAL

To copy data or methods from one project to another in Empower.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 

PROCEDURE

1. Open Browse project for the project you want to copy from.
2. Highlight the data or methods you want to move.
3. Right-click them and choose Copy to project.
4. In the new window, choose the project you want to copy to.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If a different version of the method you are copying already exists in the project you are copying to, you will not be able to copy. You will need to first delete the method from the project you are copying to. You are given that option. Choose "Yes to All" this option will be shown for each project.

If the method is on a different Empower instance, you can left click on the method and drag it onto the Windows desktop. Move that file to a share or thumb drive. On the other instance, drag the file from the share or thumb drive back into the project of choice.
