"Server Busy" error when running Agilent 7890GC with 7697A headspace sampler under ICF v3.0 control in Empower - WKB45525

SYMPTOMS
- Can successfully monitor a 7890GC system with 7697A headspace sampler in the Empower Run Samples screen
- "Server Busy" message appears when attempting to run a sample set using the same system

CAUSE
A separate instrument exists and is configured in the chromatographic system for the Agilent 7697A Headspace Sampler. This is not required for proper instrument control.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Update the chromatographic system to remove the Agilent 7697A instrument.
- Delete the Agilent 7697A DHCP entry.
- Delete the Agilent 7697A instrument from the Instruments tab of the Node Properties window.
