Changes to Run Mode in Empower affect the currently running and queued sample sets - WKB284704

SYMPTOMS

• Results are produced when the sample set method was submitted with the mode set to "Run Only"
• Results are not produced when the sample set method was submitted with the mode set to "Run and Process"

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 5
• Empower 3 Feature Release 4

CAUSE

The Run Mode was changed between "Run Only" and "Run and Process" interactively while in Run Samples.

FIX or WORKAROUND

 Be cautious about changing the mode while data is being acquired.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Changes in the setting apply to the sample set currently being acquired as well as all queued sample sets. Based on the Empower Help, this behavior is expected.
