Processing issue with ICF Support Layer 3.7.0 in Empower - WKB267176

SYMPTOMS

  • When using ICF Support Layer 3.7.0 with Empower (any version) and processing data that was acquired on an Agilent system that is controlled by this driver, results cannot be created
  • This problem occurs whether processing is done using a newly created processing method (or method set) or using a processing method (or method set) that was created using a previous version of ICF Support Layer
  • When this issue occurs, a result set is present, but there are no results within the result set 
  • Error messages of the Processing category stating “There are no channels specified to clear in method set [method set name]” and “This is usually caused by not specifying an instrument method in the method set – Processing aborted” appear in the Empower Message Center

CAUSE

N/A

FIX or WORKAROUND

No workaround exists for this issue except to uninstall ICFSL 3.7.0 and reinstall an earlier version.
