SYMPTOMS

  • No output in from the QDa Run Samples TIC trace
  • QDa system does not move from one injection to the next

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3 Workgroup
  • ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector

CAUSE

A power outage caused the QDa and Empower to start up in an incorrect manner.

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Reboot the Empower node attached to the QDa. Ensure that all Empower services have started.
  2. Reset the QDa EPC.
