Clear Calibration function does not work as expected in Empower - WKB264325

SYMPTOMS

• When batch processing a Sample Set with several Clear Calibration lines and expecting a new calibration curve to be created after each Clear Calibration function, only a single calibration curve is created with each additional standard included as new points on the curve

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• 2489/2487 UV/Vis Detector

CAUSE

Data channel is a 2487, but the instrument method in the Method Set has a 2489 instead of a 2487.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the 2489 from the Instrument Method and add a 2487.
2. Reprocess the Sample Set.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• "Clear Calibration" line will not execute if the sample set starts in "Run Only" mode.
• Sample set contains first row  "Clear Calibration" and Processing type as "Normal".
• Sample set also contains "Clear Calibration" at the end of all the injections, but the processing type selected is "Don't process or report", so this line will be ignored.
