ANSWER
When your sample set was running the final line, you aborted the sequence by selecting "Abort after Vial is completed". Because there are no further samples to inject, Empower considers this as "Sample set completed" and no Abort audit trails are captured in the project. This is an anticipated scenario and Empower is working as expected.
