SYMPTOMS
- After selecting a project and a chromatographic system, Run Samples window cannot be opened (“Loading Processing Monitor”)
- When selecting the same project and chromatographic system in Quick Start mode, the instrument can be opened and controlled without problems
- When using Professional mode, the Run Samples window can be opened by specifying another project

CAUSE
Project defect
FIX or WORKAROUND
1. Copy settings.
- Check the KCS article or procedures: How do I copy user preferences in Empower? - WKB22620. Select User: System and Project: Defaults as the Copy from in steps 3 and 4.
2. Create a new project.
- When creating a new project, create it without copying the methods from the previous project; copy only the necessary items between projects.
