SYMPTOMS
- During acquisition using Agilent LC, "Method Setup Failed" error captured in Empower 3 message center
- Run Samples and Empower 3 message center show instrument failure
- System.OutOfMemoryException error thrown in ICF Support Layer logs

CAUSE
Unused Agilent LC stacks have the same types of modules, except detector.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Turn off the unused (idle/not injecting) stack.
or
If version ICF SL3.6 is installed, open the Run Samples window for the stack that is idle, select the Advanced Options tab, and click the Terminate button. This avoids starting an unexpected/ad-hoc run, which results in a system out of memory exception.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
CRI-5510 has been raised for this issue, and it will be fixed in future versions of ICF Support Layer.
