SYMPTOMS

• From Citrix server, cannot control any Agilent ICF module from the Empower Run Samples

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower
• Agilent ICFSL v3.6.0/3.6.1
• Citrix

CAUSE

ICF Support Layer 3.6.1 and 3.6.0 are not backward or forward compatible. ICF Support Layer 3.7.01 Release notes have details on the compatibility.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Use the same Agilent Support Layer version on Citrix and LAC/Es.

This issue is not observed when ICF Support Layer 3.5.1 or below is installed on a LAC/E device and ICF Support Layer 3.7.01 is installed on a client / Citrix Server.
