ACQUITY console is dimmed and unable to run samples - WKB250803

SYMPTOMS

• In Run Samples, the modules are dimmed (unavailable) and show as not connected
• Not possible to perform run
• Checked node properties and all modules' status is " Yes"
• Re-downloaded the ICOPs and removed/reinstalled, but the issue persists

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower
• ACQUITY Console
• Run Samples 

CAUSE

Operation was impacted by antivirus.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reimage or reinstall the OS.
2. Disable antivirus software or do not install it before installing Empower and drivers.
3. Install Empower.
4. Install drivers.
5. Check the operation of the system.
6. All modules controllable from Run Samples.
7. Set the required antivirus exceptions as detailed in the Informatics Infrastructure Guide.
