Error "System cannot find the file specified" appears in the Empower message center - WKB25061

SYMPTOMS

  • Error "System cannot find the file specified" in the message center 
  • Buffering icon appears in the Run Samples screen for LAC/E.
  • Can ping the server by IP from LAC/E, but not by name

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3 Feature Release 3 
  • Enterprise with Citrix server

CAUSE

  • DNS issue

FIX or WORKAROUND

As a workaround, edit the host file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and add the IP address and name of the PC.
