SYMPTOMS

• Empower error when trying to activate license: Incorrect License File. The licenses that you are trying to activate do not match the Empower base license for your Empower system. You can only activate Empower options that match the Empower base license activated

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise
• Keyboard, mouse, and monitor connected to the LAC/E32 to activate a license

CAUSE

LAC/E32 will not activate the license.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Get onto the server and load up the Empower Licensing Wizard. Register and activate the license there on the server.
