Cannot generate the PDF file for result sign-off id - WKB243346

SYMPTOMS

• When trying to sign off results, "Unable to generate the PDF file for result sign off id XXXX "error appears
• Result sign-off completes, but PDF files are not generated and stored on sign-off tab
• When checking printer status under Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Devices and Printers, the printer appears dimmed (unavailable)

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

Printer spooler service is not running in Windows system.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Start the printer spooler service under Windows services. When the printer service is enabled, printers will be available as shwon below.
