SYMPTOMS

• Error "No injections found for this specified item in Empower" when sample set is brought into review
• Error "No samples found for this sample set"
• Audit trail shows run was started
• The Run Samples window shows instrument failure at injection 1
• The message center shows error with the detector

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 
• Agilent LC 
• 2489 UV/Vis Detector
• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

Due to hardware failure, the run did not occur.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Fix the hardware issue.
2. Reinject.
